Interaction between Depression/Anxiety and other Harmful Behaviors
This weekend, I have faced the facts that it is not ok to eat too much or to spend money in a reckless way as a treat, because I am depressed/anxious. I also realized that some of the same techniques I use to treat my depression/anxiety condition, such as meditation and other focusing tools, can be used to quench my thirst for extra food and that dress I do not need.
Also, there is a new app that can be used on some cell phones and on I-Pads that is a focusing system. I have only tried it a couple of times but it seems to help me focus on the present moment.
