A New Year – I am still here!

If I want to continue to exist in 2015, it is helpful if I look at how 2014 worked out.  I need encouragement to move forward.  Over a sushi lunch (a tradition) on New Years Eve (today), my husband and I talked about all that had happened in 2014.  Some of these were sad things that I have chronicled in this blog.  But surprise, surprise, the list of undeniably good, sometimes great, things is amazingly long.  If you are depressed, negative memories have a tendency to dominate one’s memory of a past time.  My first and only News Year’s Resolution is to list the good and pleasant memories from 2014 on News Years Day.  Doing that should push me into 2015 with a bit of a smile.  Happy New Year!
