Update on Dealing with Death

It has been a month and a half since my loved one died.  In my last post, I talked about things to do to not get depressed.   So this is a check up.  My doctor told me the most important thing is to face how I am feeling.

Well, I am angry.  Depression comes from suppressing feelings.  So I wrote a letter where I told him how disappointed and angry I was that he did not take better care of himself.  I then took the letter and underlined just the facts.  Not surprisingly, the letter was judgmental and had few facts.   Next, I rewrote the letter with only the facts.  First comes anger and then understanding.
